I know two musicians who transcribe songs.
Musician A keeps everything to himself. He’s afraid of sharing his work or processes because he sees it as something personal, something no one should steal.
Musician B, on the other hand, shares his music scores and work processes everywhere. Most musicians I know have his scores in their collections.
Here’s the interesting part:
People became curious because Musician B’s scores were everywhere. They started asking, “Who is this guy?” Eventually, Musician B became well-known for sharing his work and processes on social media to help other musicians.
