I managed to curb my smoking habits by delaying it
Smoking cigarettes has been a part of my life for the last 24 years.
It started with curiosity at a very young age, wondering why my friends were all doing that and it felt cool, more like building a bond between brothers.
I took my first puff while hiding in a multi-storey car park because I was underage and I didn’t want my parents to see.
It was extremely horrible.
The smell was bad.
The taste was bad.
Inhaling the smoke into my lungs was gross.
My fingers stink.
My breath smells.
My clothes stink.
And, I carried on doing that for the last 24 years.
Soon, it became a part of my life and I feel useless without it.
I accidentally delayed my smoking session.
I remembered this incident like it was yesterday.
One afternoon, I was so busy working on a strategy to write better blogs or create better content that I lost track of the time to feed my nicotine monster. Then, I came to my senses and rushed out for a smoke.
