I have a friend who’s always late for our dinner or lunch plans. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal since we’re all friends, and I got used to it. But eventually, this habit started to affect his business too — he was late for client meetings and missed delivery deadlines. In short, your personal brand reflects who you are, and your behaviors can impact the business you’re building. I’ve seen this firsthand.

It’s easy to think that building a personal brand is just about creating content, educating your audience, documenting your work, and being the face of your brand. But there are many small things, like your behavior, that can influence your brand’s growth. How do people see you, both online and offline? Sometimes, you might connect with someone online who seems like a great fit for your brand, but when it comes to working with them or meeting in person, things don’t go as expected. You might even have a bad experience.
