Hello friends, today I want to talk about how I made a living through my hobbies, doing what I love to do most. In short, there are a few steps that I follow closely. I hope it helps you too.

Backstory:

I bought my first guitar when I was 15. All I wanted to do was perform on big stages, tour the world with my band, and write self-written songs. My favourite band, Blink 182, heavily influenced me to do so. Fast-forward to today. After a decade and more of practice, braving through hardships and tears, I did it, but not as I expected it to be.

Identify who or what will pay you first:

Finding the closest and fastest source of income is the most important factor to consider. Without funding, you will eventually struggle and give up on turning your hobbies into careers.

The goal was to tour the world with my band, playing our originals, but it would take a while or even ages to achieve that because I was not known, and back then, we did not have access to social media. Additionally, I need funds to produce my studio albums.

What’s next?

The closest and fastest way to make a living from my love for guitar playing is to teach and perform in pubs. This made me work…
